Utopia Organics

We know that now more than ever people are looking for more naturally produced food sources. Consumers tend to trust and prefer organic products. But what does it really mean when you see that Organic sticker at the grocery store?

Organic certification doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication, A farmer has to prove that no prohibited products or practices were used for at least three years on his or her farm. The farm then undergoes a series of inspections to make sure everything is really organic.

When a product is organic, it means it was produced without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, and without using irradiation or genetically modified seed sources. Organic products depend mostly on the health of the soil to be successful. Farmers use alternative practices to keep the soil naturally healthy. Products can only be labeled organic if they contain at least 90% organic ingredients. So, when you see organic, you’re really seeing the dedication of growers like ours that put in the extra time and effort to make sure they produce healthier, safer products for your table while maintaining the quality of our environment.
